A drive-in sex box

Zurich, being a progressive city and all, has a popular red-light district. But still, no resident living close-by wants to see two (or more) people engage in a game of adult twister. Surprisingly, it is the local police who have come up with a solution in the form of drive-in sex boxes – basically a fancy word for special parking slots with metal fencing on three sides.

Zurich police chief, Daniel Leupi, is the main driving force behind this initiative. His spokesperson, Reto Casanova, explains:

“We can’t get rid of prostitution so we have to learn how to control it.”

If Cape Town actually had parking space this might have been a good idea here as well.
