Sailing around the world, stopping off to bask in the sun on white sandy beaches and exploring the hidden treasures of beautiful remote Pacific islands; these were, most likely, on Stefan Ramin’s lists of things to do when he set out on his adventures. Getting eaten by a cannibal tour guide however, was not.
Stefan and his girlfriend, Heike Dorsch, were on a worldwide sailing tour, when they visited the French Polynesian island. Reportedly, when the couple stopped off in Nuku Hiva, Stefan decided to go goat hunting with a guide by the name of Henri Haiti.
Heike became suspicious when the guide returned, without the sailor, claiming there had been an accident and that “he needs help”. Worried, she frantically began searching for him, only to end up chained to a tree and sexually assaulted by the guide.
Narrowly escaping, she managed to alert the authorities, who, only after a week managed to find some of his remains in the ashes of a nearby campfire.
Om nom nom.
