Despite what we might think, the skies do not belong to us. In fact, we weren’t even the first beings up there. This was proven conclusively when a man paragliding in the Himalayas had a mid-air collision with a vulture.
While on an otherwise ordinary paragliding trip, a Russian paraglider, identified only as “Paravoffka”, crossed paths with a high-flying vulture. The bird became entangled in his apparatus mid-flight causing a bit of a mess. Thankfully the experienced flier managed to land safely after deploying his reserve parachute.
Amazingly, the entire ordeal was captured on video, including the paraglider’s rather humourous, and not-so-kind, thoughts of the winged creature.
