For those of you who don’t know yet, The Avengers movie is fast-approaching and it’s set blow all other superhero movies out of the water. Featuring stars like Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L Jackson and Chris Evans, portraying heroes Iron Man, The Hulk, Black Widow, Nick Fury and Captain America respectively, the scene has been set for a superhero epic that won’t soon be forgotten.

The latest trailer, released yesterday, has already had over 270 000 views, and it’s no surprise why. More explosions, more slow-mo action, more dramatic Inception-esque music laced with a Sam Jackson voice-over, heck there’s even some character development (not too much though, don’t worry). It’s everything you’d expect from a big budget (over $200 million) summer blockbuster, and then some.

Although not much more has been revealed we do see, that there will be some inter-group politics, lots of Iron Man flying around causing a mess, that the Hulk has a heart and that the bad-guy has some kind of flying, Transformers-like snake in his arsenal. Oh, and of course no movie featuring Robert Downey Jr would be complete without some of his signature badboy banter.

The movie’s set to be released in May worldwide.
