If you don’t know about Name Your Hood by now, well then you haven’t been reading enough. This genius idea, created by Bruce Good basically gives people a chance to suggest names for their affiliated neighborhoods and then vote on one to stay, giving people the chance to actually identify themselves with where they live and the image that they want their ‘hoods’ to portray. This all happening within existing suburbs.
People have taken a huge interest in the idea, and he will now be talking on Creative Mornings on March 16 2012. What is Creative Mornings, you ask? Also something brilliant. “Creative Mornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types”. This gives all those entrepreneurs a chance to tell us a little bit about themselves and what it is they want to achieve. Each of these events is free of charge and includes a 20 minute talk and coffee. Sweet!
The Creative Mornings site is awesome and ultra interesting, take a look at the speakers they’ve had all over the world and others featured in Cape Town. Be sure to watch Bruce Good next week Friday.
