It’s been a few months since Nando’s has graced us with one of their viral hits, but the long wait is over. Hot off of the video presses, their latest offering is a cunning spoof of an all too familiar ad. Click through for the video.
See what they did there, with the Santam ad, Ben Kingsley? Like the original, where Floyd’s uniform changes four times while Kingsley distracts onlookers with his smooth talking, the unnamed, silver-tongued speaker distracts viewers as the meal next to him changes three times. Don’t worry, it took me a while to catch it too.
This is the accompanying copy from the YouTube post,
Do you miss things? Overlook things that are right in front of you? No? Yes? Maybe?
It’s part of the human condition — at least that’s what some Sir or another keeps banging on about.
Luckily, Nando’s new ad campaign is here to show you that the deliciousness is in the details. That, yes, Nando’s is about the best flame-grilled Peri-Peri chicken but that its menu has oh so many more mouthwatering options to choose from.
It’s all in the details folks.
Thanks Mark!
