Vice Sends Reporter To Cover The Westerminster Dog Show, On Acid [VIDEO]

The Westminster Dog Show, which is held annually at Madison Square Garden, is an event which showcases 2 500 of the most finely groomed canine specimens alive today. The two-day affair boasts entries from just about every breed on the planet and can be overwhelming at the best of times. Unless of course you're on acid, in which case it's a treat.

“Man, that dog is crazy.” Those were the opening words of  Brayden Olson a few months ago as he walked into the Westminster Dog Show tripping on acid, while on assignment for Vice. It was the intrepid reporter’s first “trip” and by all accounts it looks like it was a good one.

While prepping before the show, he spoke to Vice’s online editor Jonathan Smith, laying out his plan of action.

I’m going to try find dogs with good vibes. Fluffy dogs. Nice dogs. I’m kind of scared of seeing a grey hound.

Deceptively simple. From there on out, it was a glorious mix of laughter, confusion, elation and a handful of existential ponderings.
