Randi Zuckerberg is the older sister of Facebook creator, Mark Zuckerberg. She is also the social network’s former marketing director. But on Christmas Day she got burned by Facebook’s privacy settings just like the rest of us.
A picture that Zuckerberg’s sister posted on her personal Facebook profile on Tuesday was seen by a marketing director Callie Schweitzer, who then posted the picture to Twitter (and her more than 40 000 followers!) yesterday.
The picture (seen below) shows four people standing around a kitchen staring at their phones with their mouths open. You’ll also notice the awkward-looking lurker in the back – Mark Z himself.
The move did not go down well with Zukerberg, in fact, as seen from this conversation below, she thought it was “way uncool”:
But Schweitzer tweeted back: “I’m just your subscriber and this was top of my newsfeed. Genuinely sorry but it came up in my feed and seemed public”. Awkward.
