Lauren Beukes is the author of “Zoo City”, which won the Arthur C Clarke Award in 2012, and was long-listed for the Dublin IMPAC prize.
She has worked in journalism, satire, documentary film making and children’s TV, and writes comics for DC Vertigo. Beukes has recently released her latest book, “The Shining Girls,” which has been translated into 16 languages.
