The rebuilding of the One World Trade Centre has been completed. Construction workers cheered as the final pieces of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere were installed. Steven Plate, director of construction said:
(It’s a) beacon that’ll be seen for miles around and gives a tremendous indication to people around the entire region, and the world, that we’re back and we’re better than ever.
One World Trade Center will stand at 1,776 feet (541 m) tall. Check out the impressive pictures.
