Pack it up, news world. You’ve just gone ultra-meta. You can all go home now. We’re done.
The details: Bob McDonough of Limington, Maine had been missing for 16 hours when he was found by a news crew reporting on his disappearance.
Well, we say “found”, but Bob walked right past them. Personally, we rather enjoyed the developing facial expression of the reporter, as a polite hello develops into suspicion, and suspicion into realisation.
Robert McDonough approached reporter Norm Karkos shortly after 6:30 a.m. after Karkos delivered a live update. McDonough began speaking with Karkos and identified himself as Robert McDonough.
