With an Android app in development, we are pleased to announce the launch of our all-new mind-blowing iPhone app. As the first SA app to feature multimedia news and video alongside live-presented streaming radio, the app has the following features:

News

• – The user is able to browse the 2oceansvibe news stream as it hits the web.
• – Videos featured in posts can be watched on the app, allowing the user to tilt their phone sideways, for full-screen viewing.
• – Gallery posts allow the user to pinch/zoom into images.
• – Posts can be shared via SMS, email, Facebook and Twitter.

Radio

• – As the most advanced iPhone radio app in South Africa, this portion of our development is truly remarkable. Featuring:
• – Listen Live screen lets the user view the artist name and song title, as well as album cover artwork.
• – Users can request a song directly from the app. This is sent to the DJ in real-time.
• – The user can ‘heart’ a song, which will add it to their ‘My Playlist’ list.
• – Songs in ‘My Playlist’ can be bought from the iTunes store.
• – Songs can also be bought directly from the Listen Live screen.
• – The Listen Live screen also shows the currenet DJ’s name and, when clicked, will show their full profile.
• – The ‘Schedule’ option in the main radio menu allows users to browse all the shows on 2oceansvibe Radio.
• – With one-click the user can set a reminder in their phone for a particular show.
• – Podcasts of past shows that you missed are also available for streaming in the Podcast menu.
• – The Music Reporter sees a new band interviewed every month in South Africa.
• – The Music Guide is a groundbreaking feature which allows local venues to tweet gig information directly to the calendar, in real time.

Vouchers

• – Now you can use the app to get discounts.
• – Launching with a 25% off at PUMA voucher, all you need to do is show the voucher to get 25% off at Puma.
• – More vouchers will be added in the near future.

Top 10

• – The Top 10 lists feature Top 10 lists that we think you’ll find interesting, including Top 10 restaurants in Johannesburg and Cape Town, as well as the Top 10 biggest Superyachts in the world.
