This is the official United Kingdom trailer for the movie “Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom”. The film chronicles former president Nelson Mandela’s life. From his childhood to the monumental day he was inaugurated as the first democratically elected President of South Africa, the film, based on Mandela’s autobiography published in 1994, ‘Long Walk To Freedom’, promises to be a great one.
There is already an Oscar nomination buzz surrounding the actor who played Mandela, Idris Elba. Although the choice of the British actor to play the part was a controversial one.
The film will open in British theatres on 3 January 2014.
