Katy Perry’s Vogue Cover Diet Reveals Alcohol-Free Regime [VIDEO]

How far would you go to be on the cover of Vogue?

For her cover shoot with Annie Leibovitz, the artist, who asked us if we had ever felt “like a plastic bag”, did some model style prepping to ensure she “glowed” in the shoot. What is now being called, The Katy Perry Vogue Diet, included the use of supplements, green tea drinking and NO alcohol. A cleansing routine normally involves only the intake of liquids to rid your body of toxins.

I did a lot of my own prepping. I kind of went on a cleanse … I did a lot of stuff like vitamins and supplements, I changed my coffee to green tea, I didn’t drink any alcohol for three months. So I was really in the zone and just really wanted to be glowing for that cover.

The video above is the interview that the sick star and sick host, Jay Leno, did on his show on Wednesday.
