Laurent Aigon, a dad from Aquitane, France, has given his son the ultimate gift. After five years of Internet sourcing and research, Laurent has been able to build a Boeing 737 cockpit…for his son’s bedroom.
When Aigon was younger he was apparently an airplane enthusiast but as a result of being too lazy at school he never became a pilot. He did however team up with Jean-Paul Dupuy to build the cockpit that acts like a simulator – and has set him back a few thousand euro.
According to Oddity Central, Aigon would now like to become a professional aircraft simulator builder, but will have to obtain special certification.
It was reported that The Aircraft Maintenance at Bordeaux-Merignac Airport awarded Laurent by asking him to talk about his achievement.
