This collection of images snapped by the Mars Curiosity Rover has been harvested from the Rover’s raw image folder, which currently holds over 71,000 photos. Obviously, that’s far too many for NASA to publish on a daily basis, so it’s understandable that some of the goodies get overlooked from time to time.
This is probably the closest a robot has ever come to making what humans would consider to be art. Enjoy that.
