Her performance at the VMAs was clearly not enough of a statement – she has now decided to get naked, swing on a wrecking ball and make out with a sledge hammer in her latest music video for “Wrecking Ball,” the new single off her upcoming album “Bangerz”.

Billy-Ray’s achy breaky heart must be struggling to see his daughter wearing nothing but boots, licking things and wriggling on a big, black wrecking ball. Directed by Terry Richardson, the video also shows her crying a lot and collapsing on piles of rubble. 20-year-old Cyrus posted a link to the video yesterday with the hashtag #WreckTheRecord, referencing her goal to earn the most VEVO views in a 24-hour period.

Miley has confirmed that she will be hosting and performing on Saturday Night Live on Oct. 5, three days before the release of her album. The performance is sure to involve some more crazy behaviour so be sure to watch this space.
