    This is an absolute doozy!

A Texas-based Spanish teacher, Cristy Nicole Deweese, has come under fire from the school board, after students discovered she had posed full-frontal photos for Playboy.

Let’s take a moment to dissect this. Imagine for a moment that you’re a 13-year-old boy. Balancing delicately on the cusp of puberty, you’re slowly coming to terms with the fact that your Spanish teacher makes you… shall we say, unfocused. Just when you’ve managed to handle this somewhat, your friend hands you his phone one day when you’re in Spanish class. Low and behold, there on the screen, perched neatly between soft red pillows, are your Spanish teacher’s breasts.

The quotes on the page from Playboy read:

My butt looks great in jeans, panties or nothing. My legs are long. But my favourite thing about my body is my breasts. They’re small, but real, nicely shaped, and I don’t have to worry about back pain, bras, men staring or anything.

Opinions are mixed over whether or not she should teach again, with some parents claiming she may be a “bad role model”. Her students don’t seem to mind though, with one young learner, Zapora Long, saying

She’s really nice and really good at teaching Spanish and she just never mentioned anything about it.

    Well played, Zapora, well played.

But seriously. Is this something someone should be fired for? Is it the teacher’s fault her students are accessing material their parents don’t want them accessing? Or are the parents of the students fine with their kids accessing Playboy, but not in the presence of Playboy models?
