The Vans Warped Tour was cancelled yesterday, after a show in London saw one of the artists leap into the crowd from 12 metres. A rapper from the US, George Watsky, thought it would be cool to leap off the lighting rig and into the waiting crowd below. It wasn’t.

After slowly climbing up the railings, the rapper seemed to think the crowd were ready and waiting to catch him as he leapt downwards. Unfortunately, instead of forming a net, the audience simply stepped aside in order to avoid injury. George Watsky then fell to the ground, sending one man to hospital, and breaking one other girls’ wrist.

Watsky escaped with minor injuries, and told fans he was “fine” in a message on Facebook apart from “nicks, bruises, and the shame of endangering the crowd”.

More like the shame of being an utter doos.
