Most of us love fast food. But periodically, we need to remind ourselves of just how nasty fast food is, before we can make an informed decision about whether or not to carry on eating it. Here is a reminder.

    1. Delicious chicken nuggets (the food behind Usain Bolt).

Nothing wrong with a little nugget of golden deliciousness – is there? Well, if you’ve been following Jamie Oliver, you’ll know that he recently revealed the process behind these delicious morsels. “Mechanically-separated meat” is a mixture created when the bones and carcass of a leftover chicken are mixed together in a food processor.

The resulting pink slime is then molded into a nugget shape, breaded and fried. Reddit user “Dfunkatron,” who claimed to be a former McDonald’s employee, had this story to share:

I accidentally left a whole bag of about 100 chicken nuggets out on a counter for way too long. They melted. Into a pool of liquid. I never understood why. But they were completely indiscernible as being the nuggets i once knew.

    2. Those irresistible McDonald’s fries.

These chips, despite their fantastic taste, are likely to be made more of chemical than potato. This is evidenced by the fact that, after three years in storage, the cooked fries look as if they haven’t aged any more than a week.

    3. The ‘exotic’ McRib

The McRib may have only appeared once or twice on local menus, but they have been around long enough to leave a lasting impression. Offering a tasty alternative to the traditional beef burger, the McRib seems like a solid choice.

Until you see what it looks like frozen.

    Still hungry?
