Michelle Obama raised her bat to celebrate her half-century last Friday, and did so in style with a string of A-list guests and celebrities.

Of all the guests that night, a list that included the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Rachel Ray, Smokey Robinson and Jeniffer Hudson – Ms Knowles was the most snap-happy. And though she did perform at some point, it also seems that she had plenty of time to post her pictures to Tumblr.

Thanks to her sterling efforts, we have these photos that she posted of her and her daughter, Blue Ivy, from inside the white house. Good work, B.
