Yes, that is correct. Owing to the intense public interest in the murder trial of track star turned murder-accused, Oscar Pistorius, DSTV will run a 24-hour looping channel on their bouquet, dedicated to coverage of the subject.

And yissie, are people are catching feelings over it.

    This, from EWN:

Pistorius will go on trial on 3 March for the murder of his girlfiend Reeva Steenkamp who he shot dead at his Pretoria home on Valentine’s Day last year.

He claims he mistook her for an intruder.

The channel, which launches on 2 March, will also feature exclusive documentaries, profiles and in-depth expert analysis.

The trial begins on 3 March, and is scheduled to conclude on 20 March.

This is what Mutlichoice’s head of content, Aletta Alberts has to say:

This pop-up channel will give our viewers in-depth coverage of the Oscar Pistorius trial, with a rich variety of content and social media integration.

    Thanks, Aletta.
