The Star From The Movie Juno Is Gay [VIDEO]

Ellen Page, known for her role as a pregnant teen with a fast talking mouth from the film Juno, announced she is openly gay at the HRCF’s Time to Thrive conference.

“I’m here today because I am gay,” said 26-year-old Page to a standing ovation. Page admitted that the industry she works in places “crushing standards” on everyone. These standards may have affected her but she says that she is trying to push back and be authentic.

“And because maybe I can make a difference. To help others have an easier and more hopeful time. Regardless, for me, I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility,” said the actress known for her roles in Juno, Inception and the X-men Franchise.
