Now this is our kind of president! Publically mocking the failures of his policies and generally showing us that no one is too big or too serious for a gentle roasting from good old Barack. The U.S. president and first lady annually host a dinner for all the big wigs of the media, studded with a few local celebs and one or two hollywood stars – such as Robert de Niro.

National networks like CNN and Fox got a loving jab or two from Mr President in his presentation and there seems to have been pretty good humour all round – at least on the surface. I don’t doubt that there were several bruised egos slinking away by the end of the evening but here’s to calling a spade a spade! If only our own Jay-Zee could be a little more honest and open to his multitude of stuff-ups. Click below to see Obama in his double-life as a comedian:
