It’s pretty awesome to see how, over time, the arts have become a more accepted career path, as well as a much more accepted and widely preferred form of self-expression. Opposed to, say, bottling up any sense of self or emotion for one’s entire life!
It’s even more awesome when this self-expression is used for good, and attempting to turn what could previously be seen as bad, into something awesome like The Soweto Boys. The group, which consists of five unique, fashion-loving men:
[I]ncludes a model, a stylist, a professional soccer player, an attorney and an entrepreneur. Together they represent Africa’s largest township – Soweto. Their mission is to change any negative perception of what Soweto looks like through the powerful medium of fashion. [Sunglass Hut Inner Circle]
They sound like stylish African superheroes. Cut me off a slice of that pie!
