As cool and science-y as Google Glass looks, the design itself is not exactly fashion-relevant, so in an attempt to bring some street-cred to the impressive AR tech, Google has partnered up with frame designer Diane von Furstenberg.
DVF will be creating five new frames (with eight different shades) that Google Glass will attach to, giving a snazzy and more-subtle look to the protruding camera device.
Google is only selling a limited, undisclosed number of DVF creations through online fashion stores Net-a-Porter and Mr. Porter. So there’s some serious bragging rights if you manage to get a pair of these bad-boys
Earlier this year, Google also partnered up with Luxottica, who is the controlling company for brands like Ray-ban and Oakley among others.
