Teen Uses Stolen Credit Card For Insane Spending Spree

A California teen has been arrested for credit card fraud after being pulled over in his bright orange McLaren F1, which he rented illegally, of course.

IF you ever mustered up the courage to “borrow” your parent’s credit card, at most, you’d buy a new video game or maybe subscribe to a premium service of sorts – you know, things that’ll possibly slip under the radar.

Renting a R2.5 million McLaren F1 probably won’t.

The car, which apparently costs $13,000 (around R137,000) to rent, was taken on a joy ride by Mohannad Halaweh (19) after he stole a random credit card. But you can’t have the car without the house, right? So Halaweh also rented a $12 million holiday home.

Subtle.

Halaweh was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property and credit card fraud; his bail was set at $100,000. Kahsay was arrested on outstanding fraud warrants and is expected to face additional charges in connection with the most recent incident, Raasch said. His bail was set at $60,000.
