Thrill-seekers will be glad to know that the world’s tallest water slide is almost open for business.
After being in development for quite some time, engineers have finally started human testing on the monster 17-storey-tall Verrückt slide at the Schlitterbahn water park in Kansas City.
You have to climb up 264 steps to get to the top of the slide, which will see you hit speeds of more than 100 km/h when launched off of it; but you won’t be sliding down purely in your boardshorts/bikini, as riders need to be strapped in to a giant tube.
