With Summer around the corner, it’s only a matter of time before we hear about the rates charged for fancy Cape Town homes. This particular property charges R100,000 a day. And that’s not just for Summer – that’s throughout the year!

According to their website:

The ENIGMA MANSION (gallery – including interiors – here)is now available for rent throughout the year to very high net worth individuals for a minimum 5 day or longer stay basis. The type of guests accepted are A-list performers, actors, artists, directors, producers, CEO’s from big international corporations and royal families.

Rental prices include all utility costs and a staff complement of 5 (including 24Hour Manager/Concierge). Cook can be booked at additional costs.

The minimum stay is 5 nights from 16 January to 14 December.

Then from 15 December to 15 January (season time) the minimum stay is 10 nights.

With priceless art throughout the house, one can understand that R1 million insurance guarantee is required before amny booking are accepted.
