It wouldn’t be fun to sit through a long awards show without some comedy and humour.
Weird Al Jankovic created a wave of laughter from the audience as he parodied a few hot TV shows.
“Here comes dragons galore and some dudes/ OK, to be fair, there’s way more boobs”
Starting with Mad Men, he then gave a nod to Scandal, Homeland and Modern Family. Game of Thrones took the limelight though, with Weird Al singing that author George R.R. Martin, who was sitting in the audience, needed to write the scripts faster, and even gave him a typewriter there and then.
“Type George, type as fast as you can, we need more scripts.”
