Well this is #awkies.

The Governor of Delaware, Jack Markell, sent out a tweet yesterday that ended in mild humiliation and shame.

Whilst posting that he would be visiting an elementary school, he (or the person that handles his Twitter account) managed to add a photo of a blonde lady in bondage to the tweet.

The post and image were quickly taken down, but the joys of screen shots and “save image as” were faster.

 

The Governor has said they are looking into how this happened.

I reckon someone was a little tipsy after a few glasses of Pinot Noir.
