Last year, after a day spent with friends, 38-year old David Holmes was riding his motorbike home. He had a GoPro attached to his helmet, and was filming as he sped along the road, a good 40pmh over the speed limit.
Suddenly, a Renault Clio, from the oncoming lane, started to turn, and David collided with it. It was an unhappy ending for David, who passed away.
“Make riders and drivers think seriously about road safety.”
David Holmes’ family has released the video in the hopes of making people, motorcyclists and drivers alike, realise the importance of road safety.
