A man in the Delft area was beaten to death last week Thursday, after it was thought he was stealing from someone’s yard. Cries could be heard from the homeowner, and the victim was surrounded by people.
The victim was stoned, beaten and sustained several wounds to his head. A woman allegedly used pliers to rip off two of his fingernails…
An “enraged” woman then took a sjambok and started hitting the man.
This all happened whilst police officers looked on, and one could be seen eating a banana.
The death of the innocent man should be placed at the door of authorities.
The South African Police Service has yet to comment on the incident, but the City of Cape Town has “taken the allegations levelled at the officers seriously”.
Revolting.
