Jeepers – this woman sure hit the jackpot.
Chris Hohn and Jamie Cooper-Hohn announced their intention to divorce in 2012, and have since been battling out a settlement for Ms Cooper-Hohn.
She has finally been awarded more than £337m. That’s R5.8 billion. Just think about what you could do with that. Actually, don’t. It will just make you sad.
The couple is known as the UK’s “most generous philanthropists”, heading up the The Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), which holds about $4.3bn in assets.
Ladies, and some gentlemen, if you can’t find a rich man to marry and divorce, why not try the lottery? Tomorrow night’s Powerball Lottery is sitting on R1 billion ($90 million). Which, let’s face it, would be a nice addition to the Christmas stocking this year. Get your tickets HERE.
