Woah, daylight robbery!
Police in Ireland are hunting a gang that escaped with more than 15,000 bottles of whiskey. And get this, the heist took place during the day. Audacious!
The gang went old school – armed only with crowbars, they loaded up the whiskey into two 12-metre trucks after tying up the employees of the warehouse.
“Two employees were working at the warehouse when two men entered the building armed with iron bars,” police said in a statement.
“They forced the employees to open the loading bay. At least three more men arrived and the employees were tied up.”
A large portion of the haul is reported to be Jack Daniel’s.
Well, at least these gents had a taste for fine whiskey. What I would do with all that Jack Daniel’s. It certainly wouldn’t go to waste.
