Rejoice! SA’s Princess Charlene Gives Birth To Royal Twins

Much pressure has been put on Charlene Wittstock to produce an heir to the throne of Monaco, and now she has given Prince Albert two little darlings. Goodbye Sunday morning lay-ins. Jokes. I'm sure they have a nanny.

Finally, three years after their internationally watched marriage, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco have announced the birth of their twin children.

Born via Caesarean, the little girl and boy have been named Gabriella Thérèse Marie and Jacques Honoré Rainier, respectively.

Whilst little Gabi was born first, her brother, younger by a mere two minutes, will be first in line to the throne.

The little boy will in due course become sovereign in his father’s place, inheriting an estimated $1billion fortune along with the leadership of the Grimaldi clan, which has ruled Monaco since the 13th century.

There was much celebrating, as church bells across the state rang for 15 minutes, and each child received a 21-cannon salute.

Charlene and Albert will show off the twins in a few days time.
