The makers of the new smartphones can keep their improved resolution, optical image stabilisation and Touch ID sensors. That’s all nice and lovely, but you know what would be really awesome? A phone that doesn’t die four hours after leaving the house, in the middle of using Google Maps to try and find that shop that had the gluten-free flour your partner wants to bake scones.
Thanks Apple, look what you’ve done now. I mean gluten-free flour?
Thankfully Israeli company Storedot have developed a charger that can refill a near-empty Samsung smartphone in 30 seconds. The company is backed by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, so you know they have the financial backing to make this available worldwide.
