It would be fair to say this year’s State Of The Nation address (SONA), set for February 12, might be worth a watch. Last week we brought you some of the juicier quotes from a Julius Malema interview (HERE), as well as the potential mishaps facing Zuma during his address (HERE).
Now the official Twitter page of The Presidency of the Republic of South Africa (@PresidencyZA), has invited us everyday South Africans to have our say on what JZ should address during his speech. You know, like constructive input from the public via Twitter and Facebook, because that’s a thing that has worked well in the past. This quote from TimesLive:
The president invites inputs and suggestions through social media on issues people consider important for their well-being and those of their communities that should be included in the speech,” the presidency said in a statement.
Shock and horror as South Africans had some rather predictable gripes. These from the Presidency’s Facebook page:

We applaud the effort to engage with the public, but it wouldn’t ring so shallow if you listened the other 364 days of the year. Not to jump on the bandwagon but dear @presidencysa #paybackthemoney .
