You have to be a little ‘out there’ to want to marry the man who led a murderous cult and is currently serving life in prison in California. I can’t imagine a Tinder profile featuring these facts would garner one many dates with people who weren’t a few sarmies short of a picnic.

Charles Manson was back in the news recently when he was granted a marriage license to wed 26-year-old Afton “Star” Elaine Burton last November. The license has now expired and the reason for Manson’s non-committal is one befitting his notorious background. This from Gawker:

…Star Burton and her associate, Craig “Gray Wolf” Hammond, https://quotecorner.com/synthroid.html have been scheming for two years to open a Lenin’s Tomb-style attraction in California, with the madman’s body on view in a glass case.

The pair initially asked Manson to sign his body over to them but when that proved unsuccessful they hatched the plan for Burton to seduce Charles into marrying her, which would have resulted in her getting his corpse upon his death.

Manson is quoted as saying her attempts to gain control of his remains are daft because “he feels he will never die”.

Well, they say birds of a feather flock together, so there. Maybe these two crazies deserve one another.
