It’s weird when you hear that a corporate hires Jack Parow and is clearly unaware that he swears from time to time when he sings. Some might argue that he is most famous for the fact that his tongue is somewhat loose in that department. It is therefore very off that Ford pulled him off stage after just three songs. The last two being ‘Befok’ and ‘Dans, Dans, Dans.’

Now whilst ‘Dans, Dans, Dans’ sounds like it could be quite mellow, we should make it clear that the chorus goes, ‘Dans, dans, dans – ek wil fokken fokken dans.’

You can imagine the second ‘fokken’ – every time – being a bit much for the Ford CEO.

This is what Parow wrote on Facebook:

We chatted to him via the direct hotline (red phone) we have between our two offices. This is what he had to say:

I don’t know what happened. I arrived there and everything checked cool. Everyone had dik snorre, I thought it was a scene from Stander. Then I started playing and the crowd was digging it. There was a nice thick group of people dancing in the front and I played three songs. Next thing someone leans in and drops this note on the table.

No-one knows who gave the instruction, some reckon the CEO – I don’t know. But one thing I can say is that I urge all Ford Ranger owners to make the jump over to the VW Amarok. They won’t be disappointed like I was last night.
