Gerti, the wondrous 90-year old granny, didn’t even go on the family’s Christmas holiday to the coast, saying “I must stay close to Oscar. I’ll go next year, when he can be with us.”
In other Oscar news, prosecutors have managed to gain ground on having his manslaughter verdict overturned to one of murder.
Apparently Oscar can be heard weeping from his cell on occasion. If all goes to the amputee’s plan, though, he could be serving the rest of his sentence from his home, come July.
