A girl fight went horribly wrong in Alabama over the weekend, with one 14-year old Kierra’onna Rice being shot dead.
What started as a tiff on Facebook three weeks ago resulted in a group of girls agreeing to meet in a park to have an actual, physical fight, hoping some conclusion would be met.
Fights on the street are not fair and are extremely unpredictable. You’re agreeing to accepting the harm that may take place to you and others.
Lieutenant Sean Edwards, of Birmingham Police in Alabama, has said that once the girls began to brawl, two male suspects started to shoot “recklessly into a crowd”. Kierra’onna was killed and two more girls were injured.
The men were arrested and are waiting on formal charges.
Birmingham pastor Herman Henderson has asked the important question: “Where are they getting the guns from? Where are they learning to be so violent at a young age?”
He makes a valid point.
Another concern? It is also alleged that the girls were going to film the brawl and then post it to social media.
Where are their parents??
