I would imagine being robbed at gunpoint isn’t exactly a pleasant experience, although if one is lucky enough to survive unscathed there is no reason not to enjoy the retelling of the ordeal.
Meet this store clerk from Utah who was held at gunpoint, cooperating with the criminal’s demands and coming out the other side in one piece. The gun-wielding thief was apprehended minutes later by police, and to celebrate the clerk decided to have some fun rehashing the robbery. This from TIME:
“I tried to keep him around as long as possible while pressing the emergency button,” the clerk explains on YouTube. You’ll see that she manages to stall him for several minutes…
I guess we’re watching the criminal version of the Darwin Awards in action. Anyone who robs a store, decides to hang around for five minutes for cigarettes and then gets apprehended in a car wash could probably learn a thing or two from the pros inside the prison he is headed to.
