As we gear up for the Rugby World Cup (84 days but who’s counting) there will no doubt be countless laaities donning their oversized Bok jumpers and tossing a ball around the back yard. Everyone has their own hero, here’s hoping your kid has what it takes to go all the way and you can look forward to a life of free tickets and complimentary lunches.

Sometimes being a successful company is about more than just the bottom line, about more than making sure you run at a profit and your customers are kept happy. We always have time for the big guys who take their time and money and put it where their mouths are, giving back to the community upon whom they rely for their business.

The folks at Stor-Age are a prime example of a company that does just that, their focus being on growing the game of rugby and ensuring the sport goes from strength to strength. They have recently taken the Dories Bulletjies under their wing, the youngsters who form part of the Bulletjie Rugby Development Programme at the Blue Bulls Rugby Union in Pretoria. The kids were all very excited to receive their brand new jerseys and play their very first match in them.

They have also pledged their support to schoolboy rugby with their sponsorship of SACS, dropping off the brand new pole protectors that were custom designed for this project. Stor-Age are proud to be associated with SACS and look forward to many tries being scored between their brightly branded poles over the next three-year sponsorship deal.

Stor-Age don’t mind a bit of a skop as well, seen recently by their involvement with the Cape Town Takealot 10’s and Team EC. The event was a roaring success and many were left nursing bumps, bruises and raging hangovers the next day.

Here’s our own Henk flying the flag. We can’t comment on whether or not he has been enjoying some liquid refreshments.

For those unfamiliar with Stor-Age you might want to check out their fantastic storage deals. Stor-Age offer a total solution package for Household, Business and Student self-storage – instantly accessible, convenient, flexible and hassle free. Their purpose-built, public self-storage facilities are equipped with clean, secure self storage units, available in all shapes and sizes, enabling you to store as little, or as much as you need to.

    We”ll drink to that.
