Ready your strawberries, whip out the cream and ensure both are washed down with a glass of the finest bubbly – it’s Wimbledon time.

The grass courts of the All England Club in Wimbledon are set to play host to what is arguably the biggest tournament of the year and the schedule is out. The tournament will run until Sunday July 12 when the men’s final will take place, the women’s happening the day before.

The first players will take to the court at 11:30 UK time (12:30 SA time) today and below you can see a selection of matches covering when the big dogs are going to take to the court. These from the Telegraph, with the bracketed ‘x’ denoting their seed:

    Centre Court (13.00)
Novak Djokovic (Srbx1) v Philipp Kohlschreiber (Ger)
Maria Sharapova (Rus x4) v Johanna Konta (GB)
Stan Wawrinka (Swi x4) v Joao Sousa (Por)

    Court One (13.00)
Serena Williams (US x1) v Margarita Gasparyan (Rus)

    Court 12 (11.30)

Lucas Pouille (Fra) v Kevin Anderson (SA x14)

South African tennis fans have good reason to be excited about Kevin Anderson’s chances, the 14th seed having made the final of the tournament warm-up Queen’s title before losing out to Scottish grump Andy Murray.

You can check out the full schedule HERE.
