Just once I’d like to write a story about Kanye West doing or saying something impressive or admirable. He must have had those moments, probably a long time ago, but they seem long since forgotten as he continues to be a caricature of himself for all the world to see.
Some people weren’t happy when West was confirmed to headline the Pan Am Games closing ceremony – and by some I mean 50,000, who signed an online petition against it, according to the Huffington Post.
K-Wizzle took to the stage with no backing singers or musicians, and a pretty bare set. Some say he nailed it, some say it was arrogance incarnate.
I’m gonna go with the latter. And we haven’t even got to the good stuff yet. Right at the end, his mic went off due to a technical hitch. The natural reaction to this is to lob it into the audience and prance off stage, right? Of course it is!
Thanks Kanye.
