Why do we have academic institutions? If we knew everything, we wouldn’t need them. My view is that if you aren’t challenging (conventional) thinking, you are the one who is controversial, and should be sacked. So I should be the only one employed.

The best though is on Thursday, the same day Tim Noakes said his speech stating the above at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, he had received a complaint of disgraceful conduct laid against him with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, over a remark he had made to a dietician with whom he had disagreed.
