  • Everyone Is Talking About This Video Of Taylor Swift Allegedly Snorting Coke Backstage At VMAs [Video]

Imagine the media circus if Taylor Swift was caught hoovering up a line or two of the villainous white powder? The internet would erupt, sponsors would lose their minds and we would be so alarmed that a 20-something with the world at her feet plumbed such depths of obscenity.

That’s why when this video from the MTV VMA’s hit the net it generated some buzz before being yanked following a legal notice from the owners of MTV themselves. Here’s Gawker giving you the play by play:

In the video, which looks to be a recording of an official online livestream of the VMAs, Taylor Swift walks through a corridor with her phalanx of assistants. At one point, directly in front of a camera, Swift pauses, and one of her aides hands her something. At this point, the entourage forms a protective wall of arms and sisterhood, shielding Taylor’s face from view. Others look around uneasily, and a man who appears to be hired muscle stares directly at the camera. At least one distinct, loud nasal sniffling sound can be heard above the backstage din.

Right, so to see that video you’re going to need to click THIS LINK, we’re not able to embed it. Now let’s hear from Taylor’s publicist:

Paine said Swift was merely blowing her nose, and didn’t want that image to appear on MTV. She also threatened to sue Gawker Media if we reported that Taylor Swift was doing cocaine, so do not draw that conclusion from this article.

Following the nose blowing session one of her posse then shines a torch up her snout .

Are we to believe she’s walking down the hallway, people everywhere, and she has the sudden urge to have a bump? Or is she so ashamed at having to blow her nose in public that she asks her mates to form a protective huddle?

Nose blowing for the win, someone who goes to such great lengths to protect her public image isn’t going to be so daft in the public eye now is she?
