Living life to its fullest definitely has its advantages, but when the sun has set, the various activities we thrive on can cause long lasting damages to parts of our bodies – especially the element we can’t really hide: our face.

Whether you were, or still are, prone to the traumatising acne or have spent long hours in the sun without protection, skin pigmentation is a chronic skin condition that can lead to life long issues such as a self-conscious existence or spending massive amounts on make-up. The condition can even effect woman during pregnancy when changes in hormone levels leave deeper pigmentations.

But there is a solution to all this. And a non-surgical one at that.

Skin Renewal is made up of health care professionals who want you to be your best. They offer a range of peels from Obagi (either skin preparation peels, or the more in depth Blue Peel) which is a deep rejuvenation treatment just for you and your skin conditions. These peels eliminates skin conditions while improving the overall texture and tightness of one’s skin.

The process is quick and simple – and more tolerable, safer and more effective than most deep chemical peels on the market today. The process begins around six to twelve weeks prior to the actual treatment when you pretreat the skin with the Obagi Nu-Derm system at home. During this time preparation time, you will also have two Radiance peels to strengthen the skin all before the doctor will apply the Blue Peel.

The actual procedure takes around 90 minutes, after which peeling begins around three days later and lasts for about a week and is a natural side effect of skin renewal.

I’d advise taking a few weeks off after though – your skin will be highly sensitive and have a blue tinge for a while. But hey, 10 days later and you’ll look like a new person.
