Phew, that was a close one.
Although this British Airways 777 caught fire last night in Las Vegas, no one got injured. Tweets from passengers shows them abandoning the plane with luggage in their hand – you guys know that’s not on the safety card, right? The plane was on its way to London’s Gatwick airport when the incident happened.
The ignition apparently begun in the engine and was treated to by approximately 50 fire fighters. I wonder how many work the poles, too.
Of the 159 passengers and 13 crew onboard, around 14 people were reportedly injured – from sliding down the evacuation slide. With luggage in their hands. Tut tut.
